For those interested in mystery and slash, then this series is good one for you! The Adrien English series by Josh Lanyon is both sexy and entertaining. I’ve only read 2/5 of the books but I’m currently buying the rest. He references a lot of Sherlock Holmes and his characters are interesting. If you are into original m/m books, this is a good one to look for.

What are your other recommended authors (good authors) in lgbt lit? contemporary to be exact.

Well, my other favorite author besides Josh, is Jordan Castillo Price, famous for the PsyCop series.

I would highly recommend that, it’s amazing! :D

I like Mr. Lanyon. He is clearly one of the best wtiters. Does he have any novel with younger characters as protag? Ive read adrien english series and loved it.

Hi anon,

From the top of my head I would recommend ‘The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks’ one of the protagonists is a young artist, the other is an ex-marine.

That was actually the first thing I read from JL, so it has a special place in my heart, it made me fall in love with his work :)
